Farm Stand Volunteer Training
Thursday, June 20th 6:30 pm or Saturday, June 22nd 9 am
Looking for a great way to meet new people and spend time outside? Our Farm Stand Volunteers are extremely important to the success of our Farm Stand sales program. Learn how to harvest vegetables and herbs and help our customers make their purchases. This training is essential for being apart of the Farm Stand Team. Tyke Time
Fridays from 10 - 11 am. Starting June 28th
Tyke Time is back at the Urban Farm! Join Farmer Shaun & Friends for an exciting adventure at the Urban Farm! Each week we’ll discover new things about our Earth, our food and ourselves. Crafts, stories, and getting dirty are all apart of the fun. This program is suitable for ages 3-6; caregivers must stay with their child. Suggested donation of $5 per class. Farm Stand Sales at the Urban Farm
Join us on Saturday mornings from 9 am - 2pm (beginning June 29th through mid- September) for the freshest produce available! Walk the Farm with a volunteer and choose your own vegetables, picked right off the vine! All proceeds go directly to supporting the Urban Farm program. Flowers, herbs, vegetables, and more!
Thursday Evenings at the Urban Farm
Starting July 11th from 3:00 - 7:30 pm the Urban Farm will be open for our Farm Stand Sales (see above) and more! Join us each week for something new and exciting... weeks will alternate between a 4:30 pm children’s story or a 6 pm cooking demo with a guest chef or education class with Farmer Shaun! Spring Honey Flow: How did we do and what to expect from here?

Spring is a beautiful time of year, the flowers, new growth and of course the nectar. Over the past 3 months the honey bees have been busy pollinating our environment, in hopes to collect enough food for winter. Farmer Shaun will explain how the bees fared over the past 3 months and what the next step should be. Free & open to the public; pre-registration is required. We love honey, but so do the bees! Honey bees work all season to fill their home with enough stores of food to last the winter. It is important to keep an eye own your little friends.
