Grow It Green Morristown creates sustainable farms and gardens that provide equal access to fresh, local food and educate communities through programs focused on healthy eating and
environmental stewardship. By engaging and educating local residents, we aim to be a catalyst for positive change in Morristown, helping it to be a healthy and vibrant community.
Since its founding by three Morristown residents in 2009, Grow It Green Morristown (GIGM) has become a thought leader in the sustainability movement both in the greater Morristown area and across northern New Jersey. We manage three sites — the Early Street Community Garden, the Urban Farm, and the Greenhouse at the College of St. Elizabeth — through a partnership with the Town of Morristown, Morris School District, and the College of St. Elizabeth, respectively.
