Alfresco at the Farm

Join us at Grow It Green Morristown’s Urban Farm for a FREE family event dedicated to bringing all ages

together in a farm celebration.

Children can visit educational stations around the farm and

explore plants, flowers, bees, and more. Guests can bring a chair or blanket and settle into the

field for the afternoon.

The festival is FREE entry, including live music, local pizza and snacks, face painting, caricatures,

field games and farm activities.

There is other food for sale including ice cream, a food truck, and a new addition, our Gazpacho Contest!

This year we are adding a little flavor to Alfresco at the Farm with a Gazpacho Contest! What

better way to celebrate the harvest season and all its bounty, all of which go perfectly in a

gazpacho recipe! This contest will showcase local chefs and restaurants, including The Artist Baker, Jersey

Artisan Co., and, Oldwick Soup Co. These long-time friends of Grow It Green have generously agreed to enter their own signature

gazpacho recipes into the contest. Each skilled chef will bring a unique twist to this classic seasonal dish. The best part is, you get to be the judge!

How to Participate

Join us at Alfresco at the Farm on September 19 and:

1. Purchase a tasting mug.

2. Sample each of the delicious gazpachos.

3. Vote for your favorite!

The Popular Vote winner will be announced at the event that day, so be sure to taste, vote, and

cheer on your favorite!

We will also have a Judging Panel featuring local celebrity judges:
