Shaun Ananko
Director of Agriculture & Education (he/him)
Not to be dramatic, but Farmer Shaun IS Grow It Green. His unofficial GIGM titles include beekeeper, volunteer coordinator, plumber, handyman, electrician, mechanic, IT guy, local legend, and general giver of sensible advice. In our totally unbiased opinion, no one can match the love, dedication, and patience of Shaun Ananko!

Marley Weaver
Farm Manager
(she/they)
Marley's been happily farming with Grow It Green since 2021. She loves to learn and play just as much as she loves to teach the many students, interns, and volunteers who work alongside her. If you entice her with snacks and secrets, she will stop to tell you a story. If you've heard this one before, please tell her to get back to work.

Kim Haupt
Farm Education Manager (she/her)
Kim's been with the Grow It Green team since 2019. She began as a college volunteer/intern and has been our full time educator since 2023. Her lessons encourage students to try new vegetables, get their hands in the dirt and explore the world around them.

Andeana Gonzales
Operations Coordinator and Winter Market Manager (she/her)
Andeana is basically solar-powered and runs best on sunshine, fresh air, and farmer’s market snacks. Years of working on farms rooted her love for fresh food, community, and sustainable living which naturally blossomed into her role as a passionate market manager, helping local growers and neighbors thrive together.

Adrienne Novak
Development Manager (she/her)
Before joining Grow It Green in 2024, Adrienne spent years making things happen in her community, from building a school garden as a parent volunteer to organizing fundraisers and community events across a dozen organizations. At Grow It Green, she leads our development efforts and writes the grants that help keep our mission growing.

Jennifer Travers
Operations & Events Manager (she/her)
Jenni is a pharmaceutical marketing veteran who traded corporate life for the Grow it Green life in 2025. Jenni brings a Jersey-strong work ethic to Marketing and Operations, though she’s just as likely to jump in and help with whatever needs doing! Off the clock, she’s either in her organic garden, on the golf course, or at the beach with her family.

Madelyn Fama
Communications & Community Garden Manager (she/her)
Madelyn started with Grow It Green as a College Intern in 2023 and has remained with us since. Look out for her at corporate volunteering events and the Early Street Community Garden where you can guarantee she’ll be digging through soil, pointing out insects, and taking photos of birds. If you're ever in need of someone to wrangle a frog or catch an escaped parakeet, she's your girl.

Tanner Adlard
Seasonal Farm Hand
With a background in both farming and all-around fantasticness, Tanner has been an essential member of our team since 2024. She's a part-time farmer, part-time yoga teacher, and full time hottie.

The Gals
Egg Managers
We don't eggs-actly know what sort of plan they're hatching behind our backs, but we suspect their clucking up some kind of coup de coop. If only one of us could read chicken scratch...

High School Interns
Managers of Mayhem
Though mischievous and troublesome, they are filled with energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm, except when we ask them to pick chard for some reason. We really don't know why. Regardless, they're an essential part of the team and I guess we kind of think they're cool or whatever.
