Join Farmer Shaun and Farmer Marley in person as they teach you tips about growing fresh, healthy food at home!

Class 1)Get your garden growing! Tuesday, March 23rd, 6pm - 7:30pm $30- VIRTUAL

Our first class will cover, seed starting, picking a perfect location for your garden, different types of garden structures, irrigation and when to plant. 

Some of your key takeaways will be:

  • How to care for your transplant

  • Where and when do I plant my garden

  • The excitement of starting your own garden or making it better!

Class 2) My garden is growing! Now what do I do? Tuesday, June 15th, 6pm - 7:30pm $30- IN PERSON at The Urban Farm

Our second class will cover tips and tricks to get the most out of your garden. We will cover topics of pest management, crop supports, succession planting and tomato care.
Some of your key takeaways will be:

  • Tomato pruning and care

  • How to identify pest problems

  • How to get the most out of your garden


Class 3) Cucumbers, Zucchini, and Tomatoes, Oh My! Tuesday, August 10th, 6pm - 7:30pm $30 IN PERSON at The Urban Farm

What shall I do with all this food that I am harvesting? At this time of the year you might start secretly placing zucchini on your neighbor’s porch, because you just don’t know what to do with it all. In this class, learn recipes and ways to preserve your summer harvest to enjoy during the winter months. 

Some of your key takeaways will be:

  • Recipes and ideas to use your fresh produce this summer

  • Preservation techniques like canning and freezing

  • Ideas for future gift giving (get those holiday gifts ready in August)

Class 4) Fall is coming, but it is not too late! Tuesday, August 17th,  6pm - 7:30pm $30 IN PERSON at The Urban Farm- RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 24th 6-7:30pm due to weather

In this class we will cover how to plant in the fall for a bountiful garden harvest, what to do with the garden as it gets cold, and my favorite topic- garlic planting. 

Some of your key takeaways will be:

  • You can really grow a lot of produce in our zone

  • Fall gardening is the best time of year

  • Growing produce in the winter is easier than I thought

$30 per virtual class or save and sign up for the complete series for $100!
