Seedling Sale Gift Certificate

Our seedling sale gift certificate makes the perfect gift for the beginner or seasoned gardener.
The following plants will be available: Cherry Tomato, Heirloom Tomato, Slicing Tomato, Lettuce, Cucumber, Swiss Chard, Kale, Basil, Parsley, Pepper, Mini Cabbage, Arugula, Eggplant, Hot Pepper, Bok Choy
Each $25 or $50 gift certificate can be applied towards plants at the sale in May.

Another great option for those who enjoy fresh food (minus the gardening!) is the gift of a Grow It Green Gift Certificate - this could be redeemed at the Winter Market on the second Sunday of the Month in January, February, or March or during our 21 weeks of our farm stand.
'Be Your Own Farmer' Gardening Class

The perfect gift for that special someone who's always learning!
The 'Be Your Own Farmer' (BYOF) Gardening Class is designed to empower you to grow your own produce, create a thriving organic vegetable garden and begin elements of homesteading. The class is designed for beginners and intermediate gardeners, whether you are just starting your garden, or want to improve your existing garden's yield and long-term sustainability. The 2021 series will be held on zoom 4 times throughout the course of the season. Click here for more information about the classes.

The gift of this series is $100 or $30 per class. The class will be held in 4 sessions from March to August.
One on One Consultation with Farmer Shaun​
​
This 2 hour consultation will provide you with a walk through analysis of and answers to your questions about growing your own food at home. This first hour of this consultation will be held over zoom during the winter and will cover topics such as pest management, planning out your bed, succession planting and more. In the spring, Farmer Shaun will visit your site for a 1 hour session. He will drop off a variety of plants for your garden and provide advice regarding the best layout and spacing of the plants.

The planting location will need to be prepared prior to Farmer Shaun's visit and will need to be within 20 minutes of The Urban Farm.

The gift of this class is $500. The class will be held on a mutually agreed upon date.
